The NDTS3020-A is a compact and highly durable telescopic slide designed to maximize load capacity within a small space. It is ideal for applications such as machine guarding, extending truck beds, and stowing equipment in military or emergency vehicles. Known for its impressive torsional strength, the NDTS3020-A is also available in 316L stainless steel version. It is widely used in the railway industry for applications like under-slung battery rafts and marine-grade seating, where the ability to adapt to different environments is essential.
This heavy-duty, full-extension telescopic slide (40-160 kg per pair) can support a full-extension load of 160 kg at 550mm. Made from cold-drawn steel and equipped with caged ball bearings, the NDTS3020-A provides excellent resistance to shock and vibration when carrying dynamic loads in the closed position. It is especially suitable for use on vehicles due to its strength and compact design. The I-beam format ensures high resistance to axial and coaxial torque, resulting in minimal deflection at full extension and low operating forces.
Custom versions of the NDTS3020-A can be made with tailored closed lengths, extension lengths, mounting options, surface treatments, and stainless steel ball bearings or cages. It can also be installed along the minor axis (flat), although this will reduce the load capacity by 60-80%. A 120% extension option is available, which will slightly reduce the load capacity—please consult our sales engineers for this option at no additional cost.
The NDTS3020-A is manufactured in compliance with ISO9001-2015 standards. The steel used for the telescopic slides is cold-drawn C45E+C steel, as per EN 10277. The laser-cut ball cages are made from zinc-plated sheet metal, and the ball bearings are carbon steel C85 G100, conforming to DIN 5401. Our Professional Range steel slides are RoHS & REACH certified, offering over 1,000 hours of corrosion protection before red rust appears. This is due to the advanced electrolytic alkaline zinc processing in our state-of-the-art facility. The core steel C45E+C features a layer depth of 10-12 microns, as per DIN EN ISO 9227 neutral salt spray testing, with no white rust within 120 hours and no red rust within 1,032 hours.
Each individual slide weighs 3.5 kg per meter.
