Four beam telescopic slides enable the drawer to be extended out 150% of the slide’s closed length. A closed length of 1000mm can provide 1500mm of travel with a low profile, ideal for vehicle use where space is at a premium. The QSRT-80 is an extreme load/duty super extension telescopic slide (165-365Kg/pair) suitable for a wide range of applications. At 650mm 1 pair has a full extension load capacity of 3650Kg.
Constructed from cold drawn steel sections, with machined ball tracks for accuracy, it has excellent levels of shock and vibration resistance. Accordingly, the product is well suited to supporting generators and batteries which need to totally leave the vehicle and allow rear access. The QSRT-60 is used widely throughout the fire truck industry where portable pump carriers need to leave the vehicle and provide space to facilitate a four-man lift.
Due to the extreme strength of the mobile ‘I’ beam, this slide is robust to applied loads when in the extended position making it an excellent choice for dynamic applications. Unlike many other slides manufactured from rolled steel ‘C’ sections. There are no plastic parts in the manufacture of this range, making it ideal for high temperature use.
The QSRT-80 slide has a corrosion resistant electrolytic zinc coating as per ISO 2081, and is precision engineered to produce a smooth operational movement and eliminate problems encountered with looser-fit slide products. The slides are manufactured from cold drawn steel C45E+C in accordance with EN 10277. Standard ball cages are manufactured from zinc plated sheet metal, and the ball bearings are carbon steel C85 G100 in accordance with DIN 5401. A single QSRT-80 weighs 12.24 kg per metre.
